07870 La Savina, Formentera
Our water sports school is committed to caring for the marine environment.
We want to share our values by showing you Formentera through different lenses.
We assure you that our marine biologist, Daisee Aguilera, will teach you about the various conservation activities carried out in Illetas and Espalmador. You will visit the ecological buoy fields and the anchorage area. You will see with your own eyes how this seagrass meadow is preserved and learn about the respect we, as an island, have for the Mediterranean Amazonas. The Posidonia is a plant which provides 5 times more oxygen than the Amazon and is an important carbon sink.
It is our mission to share with you how it is protected. Formentera is an icon of protection within all Mediterranean countries.
Once you finish the activity, you will also want to join to save the posidonia!
Let's follow the wave to save Posidonia!
We'll take you for a guided tour on our RIB around the island of Espalmador. We'll go to Sa Torreta beach and the Faro d'en Pou lighthouse which are north of s'Espalmador.
On the way we will stop to see the posidonia meadows through our glass viewer. We will show you the world's most spectacular yachts and you will see for yourself whether they are all correctly anchored on the white sand on not on the posidonia meadows.
We will visit the ecomooring buoys and the natural swimming pools and do a snorkel. We'll identify all fish species and take a break.
We'll provide you with snorkeling equipment, a phone case, a dry bag, a life jacket and water.
The route may vary with the weather conditions. We are lucky we can navigate on both coast. We will only cancel if it's not safe.
